Costume Designs for a hypothetical Mini-Series, based on the novel Tender is the Night (1934), by F. Scott Fitzgerald. This project includes 20 designs for the three main characters, Dick and Nicole Diver and Rosemary Hoyt. The story spans 13 years, 1917-1930.

 

I began the project by breaking the book down into scenes and episodes and created a character plot. Then I found inspiration photos for each costume I was planning on designing and made a sourcing document along with the designs.
